Made in Japan in 1979, the SL500S features an agathis body with a maple top, set mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, weighs 4kg's. Loaded with Yamaha L3 humbuckers and Yamaha branded tuners, this one seems all original and is nice and tidy with shiny hardware and no major cosmetic blemishes.
Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, the frets have some light play wear but are shiny and smooth, the neck is adjustable and the truss works as it should.
