Part of the original Fender Contemporary Series that was made in Japan in 1984, this is an ST-555 model that was made for "modern" music.
Full blackout aesthetic on the alder body with a C shape maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 25.5" scale length), it weighs 3.9kg's. Two Dragstar humbuckers with a three way switch, master volume and master tone control along with the original Fender Blade Shooter tremolo system (missing the fine tuners and arm but still functions perfectly well).
Received a basic restring and service prior to listing, neck is straight and plays super smooth, a decent amount of life left in the frets with some light pitting.
