Produced for Fender by the Fujigen factory in 1990, the STR-850LS was a premium model from the "Pro Feel" series of guitars that were designed to satisfy the needs of "modern" guitarists.
Ash body with a transparent red finish bolted to a satin feel maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 10" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.8kg's. Factory loaded with three Lace Sensor single coils and the famous "Clapton" mid boost circuit controlled by a 5-way selector and a "American Standard" bridge system, it's a very premium guitar in terms of both feel and tone.
Well loved but still in good overall condition as pictured with some cosmetic wear and tear but no structural breaks or repairs. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing with a truss adjustment, fretboard oil and fret polish. The truss works as it should and the frets have plenty of life left.
