Made by the Fujigen factory in 1991, this ST57 model was a mid-high end catalog model '57 reissue from Fender Japan.
Alder body with a maple neck shaped with the classic '57 slim C neck profile (7.25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.6kg's. Loaded with the original Fender USA ST-VINTAGE single coils in the neck and bridge positions with an unknown middle pickup, vintage style tuners and Fender stamped saddles. The previous owner had it professionally scalloped as pictured along with rewiring the tone knobs to work on all three pickups.
Lightly used condition for a 30 year old build as pictured with only a few dings/bumps as pictured. The finish is clean and there are no breaks or repairs. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, plenty of life in the frets and a nice straight neck.
