Made in Japan in 1997, this JB62 is the definition of "business in the front, party in the back". With a solid basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard (40mm nut width), it weighs 4.1kg's. With an upgraded Fender USA pickup in the neck position and the original Japanese pickup in the bridge, it's loaded with the original bridge and tuners which are working as they should.
Cosmetically, it's very clean on the front and covered in stickers on the back. Could you remove the stickers? Sure. But that's the same as covering up a tattoo when your grandparents are around. Just let it be our little secret and enjoy it as it is.
