Made by the Tokai factory in 2000, the ST62-70TX was a high end model '62 reissue by Fender Japan as part of their "Vintage Premium" collection. Alder body wearing an aged Vintage White finish bolted to a '62 profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius, 43mm nut width), it weighs 3.5kg's. Factory loaded with Fender USA Texas Special pickups, this one seems to be all original (except for a replacement black three-ply pickguard and backplate) with Fender stamped saddles and vintage-style tuners.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good used condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs but no major bumps/dings of note. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
