Japanese made around 1962, this MJ-2 was one of the earlier models with a non-tremolo bridge and larger headstock, meaning you get a lot more tuning stability than the later models with the wobbly tremolo system. Solid mahogany body with a chunky V profile neck and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs just 2.5kg's.
Loaded with two single coils with a real vintage charm controlled by independent on/off switches and independent volume/tone controls.
Good vintage condition with only basic signs of wear, frets have some light wear but were polished and play smoothly with no issues, the truss was adjusted prior to listing along with a restring. Seems all original.
