Frister guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region throughout the 1970's and 1980's and are a nice budget friendly option for an affordable vintage Japanese guitar. The "Swinging Bass" was their Precision style model and features a solid ash body bolted to a rounded maple neck with a maple fingerboard (42mm nut width), this one weighs 4.3kg's.
Good vintage condition with basic signs of wear as pictured. Restrung with flatwounds and given a basic setup/service prior to listing including a truss adjustment and fret polish, the neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life left.
