HS Anderson were highly regarded for their high end Japanese replicas of American designs. While many know them from the Prince Mad Cat Telecaster, HS Anderson also had a full range of Fender and Gibson style models including this very nice '50's style Precision Bass.
Hefty ash body with some light grain creeping through the black finish bolted to a one-piece maple neck (43mm nut width), it weighs just under 5kg's. Looks to be close to all original except for the knobs with the original Japanese hardware, pots and unlabelled single coil pickup.
This one's very nice for a late 1970's build and received a full professional teardown, rebuild and setup prior to listing. The hardware was polished and the electronics were flushed, the truss works well and the neck is straight and the frets are shiny and smooth.
