Japanese made in the mid-late 1970's, the Mosrite Avenger is one of those effortlessly cool models that was often replicated by Guyatone and Teisco and was incredibly popular in Japan. Solid offset body with a hefty German carve, solid two piece neck and a 22 fret bound rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length with a zero-fret) and weighs 4.3kg's. Loaded with a Moseley vibrato system and roller bridge along with the original tuners, knobs, pots and wiring and Mosrite branded high-output single coils for the perfect Mosrite sound.
Good overall vintage condition with some dings and blemishes from general use. The previous owner installed a chrome nut as pictured and the fretboard is missing a few inlays but nothing that impacts on the playing experience. The neck is nice and straight and the vintage frets play well. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing.
