Made in Japan in 1973, this was the earliest model from the FST series that even still says the word "Stratocaster" on the headstock. Solid "silver heart" body (similar to maple) wearing a slightly transparent Vintage White finish bolted to a maple neck and 21 fret maple fingerboard (41mm nut width with rolled fretboard edges), weighs a hefty 4.5kg's.
Loaded with the original alnico pickups and Japanese pots/wiring along with the original tuners and bridge. The original frets have some wear but still play smoothly in a "fretless wonder" style and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.
