Equal parts fully functional vintage guitar and art project, this is essentially someone's own "signature model" Fender Telecaster that we found deep in the depths of Japan.
Made in the USA in 1974, this is an original Fender Telecaster neck, body and neck-plate with a few very obvious modifications as pictured. The previous owner had the headstock sanded back and the body refinished in a seafoam green with some "Natural American Spirit" packs seemingly "Papier-mâché'd" on the top. Seems to have the original pickups along with some Dimarzio pots and custom wiring with a 5-way switch. The original tuners work well along with the ashtray bridge and brass saddles.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing but we've kept most of the character and charm there and haven't given it a full deep clean/teardown. The frets were polished and are shiny and smooth and the truss works as it should, please buy this and love it as much as the previous owner seemed to!
