A beautiful Japanese version of the famous 4001 model made by Hisonus in 1977. Hard maple body with a neckthrough maple/walnut neck and what's listed as a teak fingerboard (42mm nut width, 33.25" scale length), it weighs 4.4kg's. Looks to be all original with custom fabricated hardware and single coil pickups made specifically for this model including a bridge mute, it looks and sounds every bit as good as the American counterpart.
Very good overall vintage condition as pictured, serviced and given a basic setup prior to listing. The truss works as it should and the neck is straight with plenty of life in the frets. There's a small repair to the fretboard as pictured that was seemingly done very professionally and is completely smooth to the touch.
