Made by the Fujigen factory in 1977 and famously used by Steve Miller, the Ibanez Artist 2622 was a beast of a double cutaway designed for professional use. Weighs 4.4kg's. Specs from the Ibanez Wiki below:
The 2622 features a carved maple top with creme binding on a double-cutaway mahogany body mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Tune-O-Matic style fixed bridge and tailpiece with scalloped "cloud" ornament and VelveTune machine heads.
The EQ Tone system consists of separate preamp gain and input attenuation controls paired with a 3-band active EQ with ±15 dB boost/cut for bass, middle and treble. A toggle allows the EQ system to be deactivated. The system can be powered with either a 9V battery or an included phantom power supply.
Well loved cosmetic condition with plenty of bumps and bruises as pictured. Our tech Vaughan gave this one a neck reset as pictured, rock solid now with only a small amount of the repair visible at the binding. The frets show some wear and are flat but play smooth, the neck is straight and the truss works well.
