Designed in the late 1970's to compete with the Ibanez Musician and Studio series basses, the Greco GOBII (Greco Original Bass) was an update to the first GOB designs.
One of Greco's "Custom Order" models that allowed customers to have models built to suit their own specs, this is a GOBII900 style model with a factory lined fretless fingerboard and a premium ash body with some beautiful grain. Maple/walnut neck-through construction with a dark rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width, 34" scale length), it weighs a beefy 4.5kg's. Loaded with a pair of PU-3B humbuckers controlled by a three-way switch, independent volume controls and a master tone knob.
Good vintage condition as pictured with only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. The fretboard is oiled and clean and the neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss, restrung with flatwounds prior to listing.
