Highly regarded in the world of Japanese vintage guitars, the Hard Puncher series from Tokai were a very impressive range of Fender P style basses built to a very high standard. The PB-40 from 1979 features a an aged Vintage White finish on an alder body with a vintage U profile on a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (20 frets, 42mm nut width), weighs 4.1kg's. Appears to be all original as pictured except for some new knobs.
Clean vintage condition with one section of sticker tan on top. The finish is otherwise nice and clean and there's no breaks or repairs anywhere. The neck is nice and straight and the truss was adjusted prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life and play well.
