Made in Japan in the late 1970's, the SR-400 was Yamaha's version of a late 60's style Stratocaster. Features an aged natural finish on an ash body bolted to a slim C profile maple neck with a maple fingerboard and weighs 3.7kg's. Appears to be all original as pictured.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and smooth and play well.
