Made in Japan in 1980, the V-7 Art Wave was an original design from Fernandes that featured some inspiration from the Fender Mustang and Swinger models and gave them a New Wave aesthetic. The Fernandes logo fretboard inlays could be the coolest thing i've seen on a guitar in a long time!
Sen ash body with a slight offset wearing a vintage white finish bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut width, 628mm scale length), it weighs 3.6kg's. Loaded with the original "Vertical Sound" stacked single coil pickups (similar to a P-100) controlled by a three-way selector and master volume/tone controls. The tremolo system is very similar to a mustang and offers very nice little wobbles and the three-bolt neck plate with micro-tilt adjuster allows for easy adjustment of the neck angle.
This one is in good used condition as pictured and received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. Plays and sounds great and appears close to all original except for the tremolo arm.
