Made by Tokai in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1980 for release in their refreshed 1981 "LC" lineup, the LC-60 was a Les Paul Custom build that's become increasingly popular over the years due to it's built quality and value for money compared to the Gibson equivalent.
Mahogany body with a carved mahogany top and slim 60's style mahogany neck, darkened rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, 44mm nut width), it weighs 4.6kg's.
The previous owner had a few professional modifications done including a very convincing Gibson logo to replace the Tokai logo on the headstock. We've put a small amount of tape over it (so it's not mistaken for a Gibson) but have included some photos so you can see how real it looks. The previous owner also had a pair of EMG 89's installed along with a new pickguard and Sperzel USA locking tuners.
It's been well looked after over the last 30+ years and is in clean vintage condition as pictured. The frets appear original and are smooth with plenty of life left, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should.
