Japanese made in the 1980's to compete with Fender's Contemporary Series, the SD40 is a modernised Stratocaster built with an alder body, painted maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard that weighs 3.4kg's. HSS pickup loadout with master volume/tone controls and a 5-way blade selector, the original matte black/red pickguard has been matched with a Ladios Sopp decal that suits the aesthetic perfectly.
Very clean overall vintage condition with basic signs of wear and tear with a few cosmetic dings to be seen, restrung and given a basic service and restring prior to listing. Seems all original apart from the added decals.
