Made in Japan in the late 80's, the MBX model was only sold within Japan and was the headless variant of the Motion B series that also received a very amateur de-fret at some stage (although it does the job).
Nice compact body with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard, medium 820mm scale length with 24 frets and a 38mm bone nut, it weighs a reasonable 3.6kg's. Looks to be all original in terms of hardware and electronics with the factory Yamaha headless system and passive bass humbuckers.
Good used condition as pictured with some basic signs of wear from likely home use and the aforementioned de-fret. The neck is straight with a freshly oiled fingerboard and it's loaded with a set of flatwound strings.
