Made by the Fujigen factory in 1981, the SE-600 was one of the last models produced by Greco before Fender Japan began manufacturing and is a close relative of the Fender ST54 '54 Reissue Stratocaster.
With a three-piece body that was stripped by the previous owner bolted to a heavily played maple neck with a soft V profile (43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon alnico single coils and Japanese pots along with Greco Deluxe stamped tuners and Greco stamped saddles, it appears close to all original with the exception of the amateur humbucker routing in the bridge position, a new 5-way selector and the previously mentioned finish strip.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing including a new bone nut, fretboard polish and truss adjustment. The neck is nice and straight with an aged feel and the vintage frets have life left with some light pitting and wear in spots.
