Made by the Fujigen factory in 1981, this SE-600 is one of the highly sought after models made just before Fender Japan moved in to take over production and essentially end Greco's manufacturing of Stratocasters, Telecaster and all other Fender style models.
These late 1981 models usually featured specs rarely seen on Greco SE's, with this one featuring a vintage white ash body bolted to a fully matching white maple neck and headstock and a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard. Weighing 3.6kg's, it's loaded with the original Greco branded tuners and Greco bridge with stamped saddles. The pickguard and pickups were replaced at some point with Fender USA Texas Specials as pictured.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs but no major bumps/dings of note. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
