Made by the Fujigen factory in 1982, the Greco EG-500 Super Power (also known as the EGC68-50) was a '68 reissue Les Paul Custom model from their Japanese catalog. Wearing an absolutely stunning (and seldom seen) "Violin Sunburst" finish, it's built with a mahogany back, lightly carved maple top, slim 60's profile mahogany neck and a 22 fret stained rosewood fingerboard and weighs a hefty 4.5kg's. Original Maxon humbuckers with the original switch and wiring along with the original Greco branded button tuners.
Overall it's in good vintage condition with basic signs of wear from 40 years of use. The hardware has some patina and it's missing the pickguard, the finish has a few small bumps/scratches but there's no breaks or repairs anywhere. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard clean/oil, fret polish, truss adjustment and electronics flush. The frets have plenty of life left and play well with some light pitting, neck is straight and plays well.
