Appearing in the Greco Mint Collection catalog from the early 1980's, the EG59-50 was a "Super Real" model that did a great job of replicating the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard in terms of aesthetic, feel and sound (with the added benefit of Japanese craftsmanship).
Mahogany body with a maple top, slim 60's style mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.6kg's. Original Maxon Screamin' humbuckers and vintage style tuners give this the late '50's look and sound. Appears to be all original.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some light signs of wear as pictured. Restrung and professionally serviced prior to listing including a deep clean, it plays smoothly with shiny frets and a straight neck.
