Made in Japan in the early 1980's as one of Tokai's "Original" models, the VS-60 compares very closely to the Ibanez Roadstar and features a flat, bound top on a Stratocaster style body. With a solid alder construction and a flamed laminate maple top bolted to the same Tokai Springy Sound neck that would have been used on one of their '60's reissue Stratocasters, it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with a single Super Distortion style humbucker controlled by master volume/tone controls and a coil split mini toggle for plenty of nice strong sounds.
Overall it's in good condition as pictured with a few scratches on the body but no major dings and no repairs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely, the frets are played but smooth and have plenty of life left. One tuner has been replaced with a matching Bill Lawrence branded one and the mini toggle was replaced recently.
