The absolute peak of Yamaha's Broad Bass series, this BB2000 was made in Japan in 1982 and is a grail instrument for almost every bassist. Featuring an alder body with a maple/mahogany through-body neck and a 21 fret striped ebony fingerboard (33 3/8" scale length, 44mm nut width), it weighs a hefty 4.6kg's. Loaded with the original PJ pickup configuration, Torque-Adjustable machine heads and a heavy duty bridge along with what looks to be a custom fabricated pickguard.
Very clean condition for an early 80's build, it's been loved and cared for by the previous owner. Recently serviced, it plays great with a fully functional truss and plenty of life in the shiny frets.
