Made in Japan in 1983, the RST-50 was Fernandes' take on the '76 model Fender Stratocaster with a bullet truss rod and three-bolt neck plate with a fully functional micro-tilt system. Solid basswood body bolted to a slim C profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.8kg's. This one appears to be all original as pictured.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Very good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are vintage but are shiny and smooth and play well.
