Made in Japan in the early 1980's, this Washburn A20 was a higher-end model from the Stage Series and belongs to our tech Vaughan (who is finally thinning his Washburn collection a little).
Ash body with a lightly flamed maple top wearing a brown sunburst finish with cream binding, set maple neck with the famous V profile and a 22 fret striped rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with aftermarket humbuckers (an Ibanez Infinity in the bridge) and George Washburn branded tuners, it's loaded with a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo system.
Well loved vintage condition with a few cosmetic dings as pictured, Vaughan gave it a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a refret with some nice jumbo fretwire, fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment.
