Made in December 1984 (a few months after his Japanese shows), this appears to be an Allan Holdsworth model from Charvel with the Fender Stratocaster style headstock that was only able to be sold within Japan. Not much info available on these, there's a good chance it was a limited run or a custom order for a customer as there's no catalog online that feature a Holdsworth model.
Aged white finish like the model he used for his 1983 San Francisco show, it's got a nice D style profile maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (40mm nut width, 648mm scale length) and weighs 3.3kg's.
This one's loaded with a Seymour Duncan CCJ labelled humbucker with master volume/tone controls and a coil split mini toggle. Seems to be the original tuners and bridge with some replacement Fender stamped saddles.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing, plays and sounds great with a smooth straight neck and shiny frets with plenty of life left.
