Made in Japan in 1984 (dated using the original ESP stamped CTS pots), this is a very cool vintage Stratocaster from ESP. Nitro brown sunburst finish on what looks to be a two-piece alder body, maple neck with a very slight V profile and a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, weighs 3.8kg's.
Looks to be all original inside with cloth wired alnico pickups, ESP branded CTS pots and a 5-way pickup selector. PAT PEND stamped saddles appear original, it's had a set of Gotoh 510 locking tuners installed for some extra stability. No obvious neck or pocket stamps or signs that a headstock logo was ever applied (not uncommon for ESP builds of this era).
Nice condition for it's age, some light natural relic on the body and neck and some light nitro checking to the finish. Frets are high and shiny with plenty of life and the truss adjusts as it should, neck is straight. Electronics were flushed and sound great.
