Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan in 1984, the AM205 was a compact semi-hollow design reminiscent of the Gibson ES-339. Arched burl mahogany top, back and sides with a maple center-block, slim 60's style "Stagemaster" profile mahogany neck and a 22 fret ebony fingerboard (43mm nut width, 628mm scale length) with pearl/abalone inlays, it weighs 3.7kg's.

Loaded with a professionally installed Kahler locking tremolo system (that works perfectly and seems to have been on there for a while) along with the original Super 58 humbuckers, Velevetune machine heads and Sure Grip II knobs. Measures 35.5cm at the lower bout and a 25cm across the upper bout to give it a nice compact feel while still sounding nice and resonant both acoustically and plugged in.

Very clean overall condition for it's age as pictured with only basic signs of wear and tear from general use. The frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss. The electronics are working well with quiet pots and a good switch.
