A super modern Stratocaster design made in Japan by Yamaha in the mid 1980's to compete with Fender's Contemporary series. The STH500R features an alder body wearing a Coral Blue finish bolted to a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (13.75" radius), this one it weighs 3.7kg's.
Seemingly all original including Yamaha Spinex high output humbuckers with a coil split push pull on the tone pot and Gotoh tuners.
Very clean vintage condition as pictured, received a full professional setup prior to listing with a fret polish, fretboard oil and truss adjustment.
