The PE series was an attempt to modernise the Les Paul shape and style and the Matsumoku factory put a lot of effort into making these to the best quality possible. The PE-SUPRA was the flagship model from the range and was introduced in the mid 1980's as one of Aria' Pro II's last high end Japanese models.
This one appears to be a non-catalog model that features a nice amber plain-top finish on the carved maple top with a mahogany back, slim 60's style mahogany neck (long tenon) and what's listed as an ebony fingerboard, weighs 4.5kg's.
Factory loaded with a Kahler tremolo system (missing the locking nut) and Aria Pro II branded tuners, it's got the original "Classic Power" humbucker in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro in the bridge.
Good overall condition as pictured with basic signs of wear for it's age but no breaks or repairs. The frets have some wear but play smoothly and were polished prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely.
