Made in Japan by Morris and sold under the Bill Lawrence name, these are some of the most under-rated (and under-valued) guitars in the world of Japanese guitars!
Black finish on a solid alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. The neck has the classic Bill Lawrence slim '54 profile with a slight V shape and the fretboard has 22 frets with a 648mm scale length and 43mm nut width. This one has an unknown hex pole single coil in the bridge position (stamped "12") and the original uncovered T1 pickup in the neck, otherwise it appears to be original.
Given a basic service prior to listing, frets are shiny with some light pitting but have plenty of life, the truss is adjustable and the neck is straight.
