Part of the famous "E Series" of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in 1986 (and refinished by us in 2023), this is a very uncommon Left Handed version of the TL72-55 that was made to reproduce the early 70's model Fender Telecaster. Basswood body with a maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with the a pair Seymour Duncan STR-3 "Quarter Pound" single coils along with the original Fender Japan stamped tuners. We had this one professionally refinished in what we're calling "Electric Daphne Blue" in late 2023 using a soft acrylic finish that's closer in feel to nitrocellulose than a thick poly shell.
Reasonably good used condition for it's age, received a professional rebuild and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets have some wear but still have plenty of life left and are shiny. The previous owner carved a slight "belly carve" into the body as pictured, it's smooth and well contoured so it sits comfortably. Also seems to have been refretted at some point as there's some marking on the fretboard, nothing that impacts on playability though.
