Made in Japan in the mid 1980's, the EB-V was BC Rich's neck-through Eagle Bass model (and this one's wild). Neckthrough maple construction with a five piece maple/walnut/mahogany body and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (860mm scale length, 44mm nut width), it weighs 4.2kg's.
This one's had the electronics pulled out and reloaded with two passive P pickups flanking an old Jackson 5-string humbucker with some custom wiring (including two outputs to use the middle pickup on it's own, coil split, volume, tone and master on/off knobs). There's too much going on to write it all down but it does just about anything you could imagine!
Loaded with the original tuners, the bridge appears to have been replaced along with a new truss rod cover.
Overall good vintage condition as pictured with basic wear and tear, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing though so it's good to go. The neck is straight and the truss works perfectly, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
