Made by the Fujigen factory in early 1987, the VB-50 was Greco's premium "Beatle Bass" model. With a spruce/sycamore semi-hollow body and a set maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. Loaded with a pair of Maxon produced bass humbuckers and traditional Hofner style controls/wiring, this one appears to be all original.
Good overall vintage condition as pictured with light cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. There's some small separation of the binding near the fretboard as pictured but nothing structural and nothing that impacts on playability. The neck was adjusted along with a fretboard oil and fret polish prior to a professional setup, it plays well with a functional truss and straight neck.
