The RG441 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1987. The Roadstar II series would eventually become known as the RG series.

Despite the RG name, the RG441 has the rounded-edge body style and swoopy, rounded headstock of the older Roadstar II style.

The RG441 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include pickguard-mounted Ibanez pickups with an IBZ humbucker with Duo-Sound coil-split functionality at the bridge and Super 7F single-coils at the neck and middle positions and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge.

The RG441 was offered only in Japan and was discontinued after 1987.

This one came to us with some Texta on the body that's been buffed off although there's some light remnants of it in spots. Other than that it's a very clean old Roadstar that was professionally serviced prior to listing by our tech Vaughan (who has one of the most extensive Roadstar collections in the world). It's had the strap buttons and string retainer replaced otherwise it seems to be original, the frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
