Made by the Fujigen factory as part of the acclaimed "E Series" of guitars from the mid-late 1980's, the ST54-85LS was Fender Japan's unofficial Eric Clapton model Stratocaster with factory active Lace Sensor pickups. Black finish on an alder body with a '54 soft V profile maple neck (7.25" radius, 43mm nut), weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender Lace Sensor single coils in the neck and middle positions and a Seymour Duncan SSL3 in the bridge controlled by a 5-way selector and some custom wiring done by the previous owner.
Well loved vintage cosmetic condition with wear and tear as pictured including some finish missing on the fretboard (not noticeable when playing). The frets are shiny and smooth but are pretty low with plenty of wear, the truss works well and the neck is straight.
