Made in Japan by Burny in 1989, the RFV-75 was aimed at replicating the '74 model Gibson Flying V. With a solid mahogany body set to a slim mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut width, 628mm scale length), it weighs just under 3kg's. Loaded with a pair of VH-1 humbuckers controlled by two volume knobs and a master tone control along with a three-way selector.
This one seems to have been professionally loaded with a Fernandes FRT-7 Floyd Rose system, either custom ordered by a store in the late 80's or modified by the factory for a customer. The FRT-7 system has a locking plate, allowing you to block the tremolo with only a few turns of an Allen key.
Good vintage condition as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. Set up with 11-52's, the truss adjusts perfectly and the neck is straight. The frets are shiny and smooth with some playwear but plenty of life left.
