Made by the Fujigen factory in 1989, the this is a Telecaster Standard model from Fender Japan's famous "E Series". Made as a "current" model that didn't replicate a previous iteration like Fender Japan's reissue series, the Standard features a basswood body, maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. This one weighs 3.5kg's and has the original Fender Japan pickups, Gotoh tuners and toploader bridge.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing and it plays well with a straight neck and life left in the vintage frets that play well with some pitting present. The truss works as it should and the electronics sound great. There's one notable ding on the body as pictured but no other major signs of wear.
