Made in the Fujigen factory in the late 1980’s as part of the highly desired "E Series", this is Fender Japan's '62 reissue model of the classic Jazz Bass. Aged white finish on an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.2kg's. This one has had a pair of passive Alembic PJ pickups installed by the previous owner along with some flatwounds to give a nice rounded vintage pop.
Reasonable vintage condition as pictured with a few dings and bumps but no breaks or repairs, given a setup and service prior to listing. Truss works well and the neck is straight, the frets were polished and the fretboard was oiled. The bridge appears to have been replaced at some point but is back to the original one now.
