Made in Japan in 1989 as part of the famous Fender "E Series", the ST-STD model was the Japanese equivalent of the American Standard.
Weighs 3.8kg’s, it’s made with what looks to be a gloss black basswood body and a maple neck with what could only be described as the deepest scallop you could imagine while still being functional.
The truss still works perfectly and the neck is surprisingly straight. Looks to have an aftermarket pickguard with a set of ceramic HSS pickups installed.
