Made by the Fujigen factory in 1989, the ST54-85LS was Fender Japan's "unofficial" Eric Clapton model Stratocaster with factory active Lace Sensor pickups. Torino Red finish on an alder body with a '54 soft V profile maple neck (7.25" radius, 43mm nut), weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector, active mid boost circuit plus a volume and tone control. Looks to be all original.
Good vintage cosmetic condition with basic wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight with an adjustable truss and the frets are shiny with some very light wear. The previous owner had the neck and fretboard completely sanded back so it's got a lovely soft satin feel.
