Made by the Fujigen factory in the late 1980's. This ST57 model was the base model '57 reissue from Fender Japan.
Basswood body with a maple neck shaped with the classic '57 slim C neck profile (7.25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.5kg's. Seems mostly original with an aftermarket 5-way switch and replacement pickguard along with the original Japanese ST-VINTAGE single coils, die-cast bridge, vintage style tuners and Fender stamped saddles.
Reasonably good used condition for an 80's build as pictured with some basic dings/bumps as pictured. The finish is clean and there are no breaks or repairs. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, there's some light pitting in the frets but they still play smooth and the straight neck plays well with a nice low action.
