Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1989 as part of the highly acclaimed "Fender E Series", this is a "Standard" model Stratocaster that was designed to be closer to the American Standard model instead of a vintage reissue.
Basswood body wearing a rare and highly desired Torino Red poly finish bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with a set of vintage Dimarzio HS-3 single coil pickups and the original Japanese pots, the hardware appears all original as pictured and is working perfectly.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Very good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
