Made by Morris for Bill Lawrence in the early 1990's (based off the pot date codes), this appears to be a very odd custom order model Telecaster with the control plate on the left side of the body rather than the right. At first we thought it might have been a lefty model to be played upside down but there's a right handed nut installed that appears to be original from the factory as it still has lacquer around it, the pots themselves are also wired for right handed use.
Two piece ash body bolted to a slim maple neck with a slight soft V profile, 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with an ONG Blues humbucker in the neck position and an unbranded single coil in the bridge controlled by master volume/tone controls and a three-way selector.
Overall it's in good cosmetic condition for it's age with basic signs of use as pictured. The frets have some pitting and wear but play smoothly as they sit, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
