Made by the Fujigen factory in 1990, the ST62-500 was a '62 reissue model featuring a Candy Apple Red finish on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck shaped with the classic slim C neck profile (7.25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length) and weighs 3.3kg's. Looks to be all original under the pickguard with three Fender Japan ST-Vintage single coils.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard oil and truss adjustment, there's some light wear to the frets but they still play smooth and the straight neck plays well. There's some wear to the finish as pictured and two cracks in the thick poly that have no impact on the wood underneath and are purely cosmetic with no structural issues.
