According to their catalog, "Rockoon is the high performance guitar created by the skilled and uncompromising craftsmanship of Kawai". Essentially these are the boutique style range from Kawai (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's.
This high end model from Rockoon features a rare neckthrough maple/walnut construction with compact flamed wings and a mahogany core, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and weighs 3.9kg's. 860mm scale length with a 40mm nut width. Like most higher end Rockoon models this features passive Schaller pickups, Shaller tuners and a Schaller bridge along with an active two-band boost.
Very good cosmetic condition with some light wear as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing.
